Are you feeling disconnected from your body, carrying tension, pain, or emotions you can’t quite name? Maybe you’ve been holding it together for a long time, and talking about it hasn’t been enough to help you feel at ease. That doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. Often the body is holding what words haven’t been able to reach.
Dance shaped my sense of self from a young age. Through choreography and movement, I learned that the body communicates what words often cannot. That understanding led me to a BFA in Modern Dance, an MFA in Ballet, and ultimately to an MSW, where I could integrate my lifelong study of the body with clinical mental health training.
I work with women and older adults navigating trauma, grief, burnout, anxiety, sexuality and intimacy concerns, chronic pain, and life transitions. Together, we weave movement, breath, and creative expression with therapeutic insight, so you can feel more grounded, release what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with creativity, joy, and trust in yourself.
My approach draws on Somatic Experiencing (SE), IFS, DBT, and ACT, along with movement-based expressive work and attention to breath, fascia, and the pelvic floor. In practice, that means we move at your pace, get curious about what your body is telling you, and build a sense of safety from the inside out. You never have to share more than feels right.
I am a Certificed Social Worker (CSW) working toward my LCSW under the clinical supervision of Romina Marquez, LCSW. My training also includes IFS, DBT, ACT, CBT, Brainspotting, Sandtray, attachment therory, and psychodrama. I believe healing is relational, creative, and embodied, and I strive to integrate these perspectives in ways that honor eaach client’s pace.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, dancing, art, decorating, cooking, hosting parties, and traveling.
**I offer in-person and virtual sessions. Virtual sessions are still body-centered, and I’ll guide you wherever you are in Utah.
