As a therapist some of the most powerful and beautiful conversations I have begin with the phrase, “I have never told anyone this before.” My goal is to provide a safe space for those who are feeling overwhelmed and stuck in their mental health and trauma where these words can be said. I seek to provide a warm and nonjudgmental environment where thoughts and feelings can be processed and where healing from traumatic experiences can happen. I also focus on providing tools that help you progress and move forward outside the therapy room. I believe that the client is the expert and I engage in a collaborative approach to therapy.
I enjoy working with teenagers, young adults, and adults. I specialize in trauma, sexual abuse and sexual assault, depression and anxiety, life transitions, and women’s issues. I take an eclectic approach and work with my clients to find what modalities work for them. This may include EMDR, ACT, Play therapy, mindfulness, DBT, IFS, and TF-CBT. Healing, growth, and change can happen and I am here to work with you and empower you throughout that journey.
In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, hiking, being with family and friends, and reading.
