I believe that change and healing can occur as relationships are repaired and strengthened. I work from an attachment perspective which means looking at the impact of early childhood experiences as well as traumas throughout the lifetime. My interest in working from an attachment perspective came early in my career when working with children & adolescents. As I transitioned to working with adults and could see how much early experiences with one’s parents/caregivers impact one’s relationships with themselves and others.
I specialize in working with those who may struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions, depression, difficult family dynamics, grief/loss, obsessive/compulsive tendencies, and witnessed or experienced trauma and PTSD. Treatment is individualized and may include ACT, EMDR, Parts Work, ERP, Expressive Arts, or somatic work to help reduce symptoms and reconnect to a life of meaning. My training as a clinical yoga practitioner has transformed the way I see the treatment process because of how interconnected the mind, body, and soul are.
I provide space that allows individuals to feel safe enough to express their thoughts and emotions and find more meaning in life as self-awareness increases, the ability to deal with difficult emotions and heal from overwhelming experiences feels possible & confidence in navigating life’s difficulties grows.
I am also passionate about training new clinicians and being a life-long learner myself. I have entrepreneurship in my blood and also have a passion for building and growing businesses that make a positive impact on the world. I offer business development consultations to therapists and other wellness professionals on how to start or grow their own business.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, working on DIY and design projects, and trying new recipes.
