Annie is passionate about working with first responders and military families. She is also well experienced in working with clients who experience betrayal trauma, complex grief, faith transitions, and chronic illness. She understands that pain from trauma does not need to rule your life, nor does trauma always come from a catastrophic event.
Annie’s approach is to collaborate with clients to create a safe place for recovery and is committed to created a safe space where her clients feel listened to in a deeper way. This approach aims to help those that work with Annie feel light, experience more joy, and have more energy.
As continuous learning, Annie loves finding new ways to support her clients. She stays up to date with current research and effective modalities. She is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) and trained in DBT and CBT. She also utilized Acceptance & Commited Therapy (ACT), Mind Body Bridging, TF-CBT, IFS, and Motivational Interviewing.
Outside of work, Annie enjoys spend time with friends, family, and her huge dog. Skiing or swimming at any opportunity is a favorite as is getting her hands dirty in the garden.
