I help people feel more authentic and better understand themselves by identifying their personal values and exploring how to implement them more effectively. I provide tangible skills to work through hard times. This begins with me, but ultimately, you will implement these skills independently and stop coming to therapy (as soon as you’re ready). My approach includes mindfulness and meditation, as well as connection to the outdoors.
My sessions are full of grounding techniques that help you feel more present. I strive to approach every client with an open mind, kindness, and understanding first. When we are in a safe space and trust the people around us, we begin to heal and learn how to become better.
I am here to listen and understand. You are not alone. We are all here together, and no one way of living is better than any other. I want to help you navigate whatever life is throwing at you.
As a Master of Social Work student, I hope to explore all aspects of a person’s well-being that might play into mental health. I have worked with incarcerated youth, providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The majority of my experience has been with Conduct Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, dissociative disorders, self-harm, body image issues, addiction, trauma, teen relationship issues, and suicidal ideation. I have also worked with youth who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community, conducting group talk therapy.
In my spare time, I enjoy rock climbing, walking my dog, and spending time outside.
